The Kingman 125 Celebration is proud to announce that State Farm Insurance will be coordinating the ALL-SCHOOL ALUMNI REUNION of Kingman High School on October 17, 2008.

The Reunion is centered around Kingman's home football game against Ulysses. This district game will begin at 7:00 p.m.

KHS Alumni have a very special evening planned in their honor! It all begins at 3:10 with a Pep Rally in the football stadium. The rally is open to all Alumni and will be hosted by the current student body of KHS. Following the Pep Rally, alums will be invited to tour KHS from 4:00 through 5:30 p.m. STUCO will be giving tours in 15 minute intervals for all who wish to walk the halls of KHS once again.

There have been numerous updates and changes depending on each Alumni's graduation year. Cruising the halls of KHS is sure to bring back many memories and smiles. Special thanks to STUCO representatives Chad Williams and Kenna Teel for organizing this key element of the evening.

Another facet to the Pre-game Tailgate Party will be the Youth in Government Hamburger Feed. Ron Sawyer and his students will serve burgers, chips and pop from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. leading up to game time. Jeri's Kitchen will also be at KHS during this time for anyone with a sweet tooth. There will be a bonus to all wearing their Kingman 125 Button when they purchase a slice of pie from Jeri's. Kingman Norwich USD #331 has also agreed to significantly discount admission to the game for those wearing the Kingman 125 Button.

There will be a table set up near the grandstands for former faculty, athletes, cheerleaders an Homecoming Queens to register. These folks will be asked to stand for recognition when called upon by announcer, Seth Roe, throughout the game. Thank you, Stan and Debbie Goetz for organizing this important aspect of the evening.

October 17th also happens to be a Cheerleading Clinic taught by KHS Cheerleaders to Kingman school-age girls. The clinic will be performing a half-time dance and cheer. Following their performance, cheerleaders from KHS past will join them for a few cheers all together-- bringing the Past into our Presence with an eye on the future.

Former cheerleaders are asked to contact Cinda Keeling at (620)532-2016 to plan the cheers for KHS past, present and future.

The Alumni Post-Game Party has been sponsored by Kingman Country Club, Land Title and State Farm Insurance. This party is for Alumni over 21 years of age and will be held in a tent at the Kingman Country Club.

There will be a live band, snacks and a cash bar for alumni to enjoy as they visit and jog down memory lane together. Admission will be FREE to all KHS Alumni for this sponsored event. There will also be a special Fifth Quarter celebration for all current KHS students held at the Kingman United Methodist Church following the football game.

As an added bonus to the Kingman Lions Club 125 PARADE on Saturday morning (October 18), Newberry Motors has graciously agreed to escort all former Homecoming Queens (Football and Basketball) through the PARADE. This special recognition will once again bring to light Kingman's Past with a Presence. As the cream of the KHS crop roll down Main Street in the back of new trucks to commemorate Kingman's 125th birthday, let out a whoop in honor of all those who have pulled together to make this first event of it's kind possible!

Make plans now to attend Kingman High School's first All-School Alumni Reunion at the Kingman 125 Celebration on October 17, 2008. This is an opportunity for generations of KHS graduates to be present-- grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren alike will enjoy the All-School Alumni Reunion as KHS grads!
